Singing is an expression of our humanity, it exposes those inner thoughts and feelings in a way words don’t. There is a dimension to singing that is deeply emotional and spiritual. It can stir emotions within us of joy and sorrow. Singing releases the most vast expressions of our inner being. When we sing songs of worship to God they should bring to God our most inner thoughts and feelings.
In Cornerstone Church, Nottingham I led some informal sessions and workshops with the young people on songwriting. Mostly we chatted a bit and i heard some of their songs.
