REVIEWING:
CARRY YOU

DATE:19 DECEMBER 2012

THE REVIEW:

Adam you smash the crap out of this song. Its bloody adorable! Maybe it’s because we are less than 1 week away from Christmas, but it sounds rather festive, upbeat and I defy anyone to listen without a smile on your face.

Tankus the Hendge said what…?

Badgery…? What that means I have no idea but I do like the reference and comparison to Idlewild and the comment “I wouldn’t turn the radio off if this came on”

thanks guys

I went on the air on UCB UK, we had a chat and they played some songs you can listen here

Sat 25th Aug I will be doing a “home turf” concert in northern ireland at scrabo hall church, newtownards. See www.adambakermusic.co.uk

CD’s will be available and there will be a chance to hear about our vision for Senegal. This really is a special concert, it will be one of the last for a while (potentially a year). So do come along, bring friends, your family and small pets!

Springsteen meets Frank Turner a blend of folk and pop rock and that still doesn’t describe the greatness that is Scott Nicol

Whether with a band or on his own this guy rocks!

I have enjoyed sharing some stages with him in the past, and watching his music videos (they are great!), following tweets about US Tours and TV appearances, I get really excited about the places Scott’s music takes him to and where it could take him in the future.

The Awaken guys are just brilliant and you will certainly agree when you experience their live sound.

Awaken and I have shared a few stages in Scotland, I’ve teamed up with Marc Bull and ahd him play with me and enjoyed a good friendship with other band members too.

Its all about their live sound for me, its electric!

A new release from this wonderful songwriter and musician takes on a slightly different sound to his previous release. Opening tracks will shed some light on what I mean.

I remember meeting Steph at the Lions Trust Launch Concert, his set was immense, a 3 piece band, huge sound, a gripping voice and stories that were shared made the experience truly inspiring.

Allan McKinlay is a great songwriter, a gifted worship leader with honesty, sincerity and passion. Allan and I had a joint cd launch in Scotland at the launch of his latest recording “When God Speaks” a brilliant title song but the album has more to offer, “Dry Bones” is my personal favourite.

Worship leader and songwriter Allan McKinlay is one of the best artists I have come across lately. Check out his website and find out more http://www.allanmckinlay.com/

Lifecolour and I first met in Stone when we did a joint event together and some of the guys acted as my band. Recently some of the band members joined me on the Olympic Park stage in the London 2012 games.

Rock on! Sweet riffs, thumping drums and melodies that will have you entangled in a whirlpool of sounds that will drown you in joy.
