Music is universal but musical styles and idioms are not; they are wonderfully diverse and culturally shaped.

Hello folks,
So I thought I would introduce you to my wife Sarah. My blog will become a shared blog with her that will still talk about music, and some of the topics I have already mentioned up to now. On top of that it will more and more talk about how we are engaging in ministry as we serve with WEC. So expect updates over the next few years of language learning in France, ministry to street children in Senegal, Senegalese pop stars, ethnomusicology, musical adventures that I embark on, music projects that are currently only in my imagination, new songs and much more.
I thought this would be best so as to avoid confusion by running two blogs and also avoiding the danger of one or the other becoming dorment.
So a bit of a transition, however you may not even notice it that much as already I have mentioned some of these things and touched on issues of justice and social action.
Sarah will also add updates to the blog.
